Meet Rachel Smith
BSN, RN
Holistic Wellness Coach for Women

For more than 18 years, I've had the privilege of caring for people as a Registered Nurse - and much of my nursing career has been spent in oncology, caring for people facing cancer diagnoses and complex treatment journeys.

Working closely with cancer patients changed the way I think about health.

I've seen the incredible things modern medicine can do. I've watched patients receive treatments that can extend and transform lives, and I've witnessed the strength, courage, and resilience of people navigating some of life's most difficult moments.

But I've also noticed something that doesn't always get enough attention.

A diagnosis can change everything.

Suddenly, patients and their families are faced with new medications, appointments, treatment plans, side effects, emotions, fears, and decisions. They're given an incredible amount of medical information - but knowing what to do medically isn't always the same as knowing how to live well in the middle of it all.

And that realization stayed with me.

Health is about more than treating illness.

Over the years, I began to see how much our everyday choices matter - not just when we're sick, but long before we ever reach a health crisis.

How we manage stress.

How we nourish our bodies.

How we move.

How we sleep.

How we care for our emotional well-being.

How we make space for meaningful relationships, purpose, and the things that give our lives joy.

Yet knowing these things and actually incorporating them into a busy, demanding life are two very different things.

I've seen so many women who know what they should be doing for their health, but feel overwhelmed by the process of actually making it happen.

They're taking care of their families.

They're building careers.

They're meeting everyone else's needs.

They're carrying responsibilities that never seem to end.

And somewhere along the way, their own health becomes something they'll get to "later."

I don't believe it has to be that way.

That's why I became a wellness coach.

I created Empower Wellness Coaching because I want to help women bridge the gap between knowing what supports their health and actually living it.

My approach combines the health and knowledge and perspective I've developed through more than 18 years of nursing with the tools of holistic wellness coaching.

I don't believe wellness should mean following another rigid plan, chasing perfection, or completely overhauling  your life overnight.

I believe lasting change happens through small, intentional choices that fit into your real life.

Together, we'll look at the whole picture - not just one symptom or one habit.

We'll explore your energy, stress, nutrition, movement, sleep, relationships, mindset, self-care, purpose, and the routines that shape your everyday life.

Because you are more than a checklist of healthy behaviors.

You are a whole person.

My mission is simple.

I want women to feel empowered to take an active role in their own well-being - not because they're afraid of what might happen if they don't, but because they believe their health and their life are worth investing in.

My years in oncology taught me not to take health for granted.

They also taught me that there is tremendous power in the choices we make every day.

You don't have to wait for a diagnosis, a crisis, or complete burnout to start taking better care of yourself.

You can start now.

And you don't have to figure it all out alone.

I'm here to help you create a healthier life that actually works for you.

If you're ready to move from feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from your health to feeling more energized, confident, intentional, and well, I'd love to walk alongside you.

I'm Rachel Smith, BSN, RN, and I'm so glad you're here.
