Snapping at the People You Love?

Stress and Anger Coaching for Women, Led by a Registered Nurse

When stress and overwhelm build up, they often come out as anger. Snapping at people you love isn't who you are. It's usually a sign you've been carrying too much for too long. Work one-on-one with a Registered Nurse to calm your body's stress response and feel in control again.

Does this sound familiar?
  • You have a shorter fuse than you used to, and it shows up at home.

  • Small things set you off, and the guilt afterward is worse than the moment.

  • You feel tense and on edge, even when nothing is going wrong.

  • You're stretched so thin that there's no room left for patience.

  • You want to respond calmly, but in the moment it feels out of reach.

What changes when we work together

Anger is often what overwhelm looks like on the outside. Together we look at what's filling your cup past the brim: workload, sleep, boundaries, unmet needs and the routines that keep you running on empty. Then we build habits that give you more room to breathe.

What that can look like:

  • Noticing the warning signs in your body before you snap, not after

  • A calming tool you can use in the moment, mid-argument or mid-meltdown

  • Getting through the after-school or dinnertime rush without yelling

  • Ending the day proud of how you showed up, instead of replaying what you said

Is coaching right for me? Coaching works best when anger is tied to stress, burnout and overwhelm. If anger ever feels unsafe for you or anyone around you, a licensed mental health professional is the right first step. We'll talk about what fits during your discovery call.

Why Work With a Nurse Coach Instead of a Life Coach?

Stress doesn't just live in your head. It shows up in your body.

A life coach can help you set goals and stay motivated. That's valuable. But stress and burnout aren't only a mindset problem. They affect your sleep, your energy, your appetite, your patience and your health.

As a Registered Nurse, I've spent more than 18 years watching how stress plays out in the body. I bring that understanding to every session, so we work on what's happening physically as well as what's happening in your day to day life.

Meet Your Coach

Rachel Smith BSN | RN

I've been a Registered Nurse for more than 18 years, much of it in oncology. Caring for patients and families through some of the hardest moments of their lives showed me how stress builds in the body, and how it spills out when there's nowhere left for it to go.

I'm also a mom of three, so I know the guilt of losing patience with the people you love most.

Now I work with women who are successful on the outside and running on empty on the inside. I don't believe in rigid plans or chasing perfection. Lasting change happens through small choices that fit into your real life, and I'll help you find yours.

How it works

Three Simple Steps
  1. Free discovery call. A relaxed 30-minute conversation about what's going on and what you want to change. You'll leave with the one change most likely to help you feel better this week, whether or not we work together.

  2. Your personal plan. Together we build a realistic plan for stress, rest, energy and routines that fits your schedule.

  3. One-on-one support. Regular Zoom sessions with a nurse in your corner, plus accountability and adjustments as life happens.

Questions Women Often Ask

How is a nurse coach different than a life coach? Life coaches help with goals and motivation, and no license or health training is required. I'm a Registered Nurse with more than 18 years of experience, so I also understand how stress affects your sleep, energy and health, and I know when something needs a doctor's attention.

Is this therapy or medical care? No. This is wellness coaching. I bring my nursing background, but I don't diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions. Coaching works alongside the care you get from your doctor or therapist.

Do I meet with you in person? All sessions are on Zoom, so you can join from home or work.

Where do you work with clients? I work with women in all but the following states: Alaska, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington, D.C.

What does coaching cost? Programs start at $1,200 for 4 one-on-one sessions over 1-2 months with a Registered Nurse. Every program includes a personalized plan and support between sessions, and payment plans are available. We'll talk through the options on your free discovery call, and there's no pressure or obligation to decide that day.

What happens on the discovery call? We talk about what you're dealing with and what you'd like to feel instead. You'll leave with one specific first step you can start this week, whether or not we work together.
